Qi Jiarong // "She's 16, right? Right?" Wrong. Qi Jiarong is an extremely powerful cultivator who, by all rights, is in her eighties probably. Certified old lady who very much Does Not Look Like It. She, like Xiao Xingchen and Cangse-sanren, came off the immortal mountain, although no one knows this because she got kicked out. What she did to get kicked out, no one knows. She's both a very competent healer and a very competent surgeon, which is to say, she can do battlefield butchery like there's no tomorrow. Sure, Ruohan and Qiren got the idea of Ghost City mpreg pills from Guangshan (of course), but it was Jiarong who confirmed their existence and actual effects. Very good with children. When Qiren's other servants went ahead to Gusu, she stayed behind. This was upsetting to everyone and widely regarded as a bad move... until she showed up later with Song Lan, entirely uninterested in explaining herself to anyone but Qiren, who she regards as less annoying than his soulmate. She and Qiren get along extremely well debating theory, and when she decides to stay in Gusu, it's likely as a teacher... and still uninterested in explaining who she is, why she knows Qiren, or anything else about herself, really. Why she decided to follow Ruohan in the first place remains unknown, but she's very loyal.
